Greetings, salutations, avé and hello. I am Kayeka, and I welcome you to my blog.
Now what is this blog about? Well, it's in the title, really. I am being a geek and want you to know about it. This tiny shred of the internet will from now on serve as my personal soapbox on which I will loudly announce my opinions on the many facets of geekdom, particularly videogames, role-playing games and 'Japanese stuff'.
So why should you care? Frankly, you probably shouldn't. As some pretty smart dude once said: 'There are millions of bloggers on the internet, and every single one of them wants you to look at pictures of their cat'. My blog is not very different. In every possible way, I am part of all those bloggers that have little interesting to contribute to the world at large and are wasting space on your internet.
At least I can promise you that I won't bore you with pictures of my cat, and not only because I don't have one. This blog will be a platform for my geeky opinions and reports on geeky activities, trying to be as in-depth, articulate and thought-provoking as possible. So if you are a geek (or a nerd, or whatever) you might want to read this anyway. Getting a fresh perspective on issues and franchises you are familiar with can be quite entertaining, and you can use the comments section as a soapbox for your own opinion, possibly titled 'Why Kayeka is wrong and should go die in a fire'. Force feeding the world my opinions is only a secondary goal to creating some heated discussions.
